My one year old was recently diagnosed with absence seizures have. Anyone who knows a lot to know about them, or a child with them? The peditricain said it is very common in children.

The relatively frequent. And there are good chances that your child will grow out of them. My oldest was born with Full-Blown Crisis and still does, but it also has absence seizures as well. I think the best way I can be explained at this stage that if you have a crisis of the absence, since the distance is not only responds to his name or anything, but only of short duration.
