My one year old was recently diagnosed with absence seizures have. Anyone who knows a lot to know about them, or a child with them? The peditricain said it is very common in children.

The relatively frequent. And there are good chances that your child will grow out of them. My oldest was born with Full-Blown Crisis and still does, but it also has absence seizures as well.
